Procrastination is Protection
Procrastination is Protection
We all experience procrastination at some point in our lives. But what if I told you that procrastination is not always a bad thing? In fact, it might be your subconscious trying to protect you and guide you towards a more aligned path.
When you find yourself procrastinating, instead of pushing through with sheer force, try taking a moment to reflect. Journal or ask yourself aloud, "Why am I avoiding this?" Believe that you can accomplish things without forcing them. Inspired, aligned action is key.
Nature always takes the path of least resistance, and as part of nature, we should do the same. If you feel resistance and a lack of motivation, there's a reason. Maybe you need to revisit your motivations, or perhaps it's simply not the right time. Give yourself grace and peace because procrastination might just be safeguarding you from something.
Abraham Hicks's teachings resonate strongly here. By understanding that procrastination can be a sign of misalignment, we empower ourselves to make wiser choices. It's about recognizing that there's often an easier, more enjoyable way to accomplish our tasks.
I've experienced this firsthand many times. I’ll be resisting doing something, procrastinating for days or even weeks. But when I finally embraced the pause and listened to my intuition, I would stumble upon a tool, a piece of information, or meet someone that made the task ten times easier. By not forcing it, I found a smoother path.
So, here's a framework to navigate procrastination as protection:
Don't be ashamed or annoyed by procrastination. Embrace it as a signal from your subconscious, guiding you towards a more fulfilling and aligned path. Let's release the pressure to push through and start honoring our inner wisdom.
With love and alignment,
Diamond
